Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a deep understanding of sports and media industries to support our clients in optimizing their operations, enhancing fan engagement, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business success in the sports and media sectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of sports and media data sets, including audience demographics, viewership trends, sponsorship metrics, and social media engagement.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sponsorship deals, and content strategies in driving fan engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with sports and media organizations to identify strategic opportunities for revenue growth, audience expansion, and content monetization.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and customer segmentation, to identify actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
- Design and deliver customized reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sports and media analytics to continuously enhance methodologies and approaches.
- Support the development of data-driven solutions and tools to optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation in the sports and media sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Media Studies, Statistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or consulting roles within the sports and media industries.
- Deep domain knowledge of sports and media ecosystems, including understanding of audience behavior, content consumption trends, and revenue models.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or SAS, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
