Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in data science to join our pioneering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the direction of our analytics projects, taking ownership from conception to delivery. As a key member of our startup, you will wear multiple hats, contributing not only to analytics but also influencing the overall strategic vision of the company.
Responsibilities

Data Analysis:
Utilize your deep understanding of data science to analyze and extract insights from business datasets, contributing to the development of innovative data analytics solutions.

Business Development:
Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends. Synthesize current business intelligence and trend data to support recommendations for action.

Project Ownership:
Take full ownership of analytics projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Lead end-to-end project management, from scoping and requirements gathering to implementation and post-project analysis.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to drive collaborative efforts and achieve project objectives.

Continuous Learning and Innovation:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in healthcare data science. Innovate and bring fresh perspectives to the team.

Reporting and Visualization
Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, and economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide valuable input into the strategic direction of Growth Catalyst’s initiatives. Contribute to the development of new data-driven products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s (preferred) degree in Engineering, Data science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate experience in data science.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management, from conceptualization to delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights
from complex datasets. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders. - Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
